His Holiness looking over the valley and the running pilgrims (near Lingshed)

This photo (taken in Lingshed) and the following few show clearly how His Holiness interacts with people: In his eyes, no one is less important than others. Everyone is equally beautiful, equally important.

The old and crippled lady that Rigzin Namgyal was talking about

Monks and nuns playing in the snow at Sengge La, instead of walking down, they preferred to slide down. Some even wanted to walk all the way up and slide down again and many times more.

The cloud formation that took the shape of a "Lion", just above Sengge La which literally means "the Pass of Lion". How auspicious!

Words of Wisdom

On this small planet, in the daily dreams of our life, beneficial deeds are always recommended, simply because we are all born to help each other.

By sharing our love with different expressions and through the practice of generosity, morality and understanding, we will then be fulfilling our purpose of being members of the human race.

- His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa
